There’s a certain kind of Christmas we return to instinctively — the one that feels like home. This season, in collaboration with Lovaan, we set out to capture that feeling through a summer Christmas lunch tablescape, designed for long afternoons beneath the open sky. What unfolded was a celebration that felt both familiar and elevated, a distinctly Australian expression of Christmas entertaining.
Hosted at Georgia’s home, the gathering took place under the trees, where sunlight lingered well into the early evening, a distinctly Australian expression of Christmas. It was warm, unhurried, and quietly celebratory.
The table was set not for spectacle, but for connection; a reflection of the kind of lunch that stretches into evening, where conversation flows as easily as the wine.
This collaboration felt both natural and deeply personal. As a Melbourne-based brand founded by a friend, Lovaan has long been part of our shared story - worn by both Georgia and India for meaningful moments, including India’s bridal shower in London.
Bringing our worlds together for this occasion was less a partnership, and more an extension of an existing dialogue: one grounded in friendship, creativity, and a shared appreciation for considered design.
Guests, all close friends of Georgia and India, were dressed in looks from Lovaan’s Chapter 10 collection,
Wallflower.
There was a quiet poetry in the way the collection moved through the space; soft yet assured, elegant yet effortless.

The menu was conceived by Amelia Di Maggio, one of our most treasured collaborators. Known for her intuitive approach to entertaining, Amelia created a menu that felt both elevated and deeply comforting, generous, seasonal, and beautifully composed.
Having previously cooked for Georgia’s son’s christening, her presence brought a sense of continuity and ease, her food anchoring the afternoon with warmth and abundance.
The table itself was set by Aretae, layered with pieces chosen for their quiet beauty and intention.
Crockery from Kaneko Kohyo and delicate glassware by Zalto, coming together to create a setting that felt both elevated and deeply personal.
The mood was shaped by a gentle layering of details: jazz drifting through the garden, a thoughtfully considered tablescape, and the quiet rhythm of guests arriving, settling, and staying.
It was an atmosphere defined not by occasion, but by intention - where every element, from what was worn to what was shared, felt purposeful.
At its heart, the evening was a reflection of what we hold close: that the most meaningful celebrations are often the simplest.
A table, a setting, and the people who make it feel complete.
